This beautiful Georgian oil painting was created in c1830. The subject is lovely. A woman with elaborate hair and a beautiful deep blue dress. There has been some restoration on the canvas and at some point, it has been relined. The gorgeous frame is of the same era but the portrait does not sit flush in it suggesting it was changed or the artist picked one they had at hand.
