Antique Georgian Mahogany Chest c1800
An English, chest of drawers, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800.
With appealing figuring and a desirable faded aged patina.
Showing fine grain and beautiful colour.
Arranged as a suite of three drawers with two smaller drawers above.
Each drawer is dressed with brass round original handles.
Traditional cockbeading adds further detail to the drawer fronts and the piece sits on a pair of shaped bracket feet to the front and back.
An unusual shaped back at the top to accommodate skirting boards.
Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
