This is a beautifully crafted piece. With eight drawers altogether it has both a plinth and a frieze drawer. A lovely black fossil marble top and the locks have been replaced long ago with handles decorated with dolphins.
There is some shrinkage in the sides as is to be expected due to age. The colour is glorious.
