This fabulous commode is made of satinwood (a rare wood) and has the cabinet maker's label on the top drawer, Peyruse and Bergougnan of Toulouse.
It has fabulous quality mounts, the drawer liners are made of mahogany which is a sign of excellent quality and the dovetails are finely made.
It has a thick rouge marble top and is polished inside and out.
